Works great, love all the functions. Bought it to motivate myself to improve my fitness/body weight. Has been a great tool. Wished Omron had model HBF-362 in the US which has similar functions but better looking display/graphics. Noticed HBF-362 is only available in asian market.

Unfortunately after spending a couple hours trying to find the right body fat monitor I came away very disappointed with this one. It measured me at 22% body fat percent and a body age of 55 (whatever that means) which blew me away and even bummed me out. So I decided to step it up and get the professional hydrostatic test done at a local gym. These are far more accurate and I came away with a 7.7% body fat. That's a huge difference! Now I like to stay active and all but I had no idea there would be this much of a gap.

I had such high hopes for this product, and am extremely disappointed. I believe it to be be very inaccurate. Here's why:
I bought this product 6 months ago, and 3 months ago went on a diet and exercise plan. I cut my saturated fat intake by 80% and replaced it with unsaturated fats (but less fat, overall). I started to run and lift weights, never taking more than 1 day rest per week on average. 45 minutes a day of exercise on average.
People who haven't seen me in that entire period of time couldn't believe how much more muscular I look, how trim I am now. I can see myself as well. There's a notable difference.
Yet, here's the kicker, this thing doesn't reflect the changes at all.
Compared to 3 months ago:
Apparently I have lost 2 pounds (this, I can believe due to less caloric/fat intake and more cardio, but still gaining some muscle mass to make sure I compensated for the fat loss somewhat). But, I have also apparently gained 3% body fat and lost 2% muscle mass in that time and I am about twice my actual age (per their calculations).
Seriously? This has to be a joke! More fat, less lean muscle, and "older" than when I started to exercise. I know someone with a big beer belly who has as much body fat as I do! According to their calculations, for my height, weight, age, I am classified as obese. No joke.
Don't buy this junk. Save yourself the money. It has been nothing but a huge letdown to me (and psychologically it can do damages to your exercise routine).
